6.6 LAWS OF NEW ZEALAND

6.6.1 Hardcopy edition

A different format is necessary for Laws of New Zealand, as it has a different updating style to other legal encyclopaedias.

Cite the hardcopy edition of Laws of New Zealand using the following format:
Element Author (if appropriate) Title Topic nameSorted ascending Pinpoint reference
Example Charles Rickett Laws of New Zealand Equity at [98]
Eg Charles Rickett Laws of New Zealand Equity at [98].

Where the title includes a subtitle, provide this as part of the topic name. Also include any reissue number.
Eg Colin Pidgeon Laws of New Zealand Civil Procedure: Supreme Court and Court of Appeal (Reissue 1) at [59].

6.6.2 Online edition

Cite the online edition of Laws of New Zealand using the following format:
Element Author (if appropriate) Title Topic name Online ed Pinpoint

As with the hardcopy edition, include any subtitle names and reissue numbers.
